  • 2 cups Bob's Red Mill Unbleached White Organic All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 cups Bob's Red Mill Organic Old Fashioned Rolled Oats
  • 1 tablespoon chai spice blend
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Brown the butter in a skillet over medium heat until dark amber. Transfer to a mixing bowl.
  2. Mix both sugars into the browned butter until well combined, then add eggs and vanilla.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine flour, oats, chai spice blend, baking soda, and salt; mix well.
  4. Gradually add dry ingredients to the wet mixture until just combined. Chill dough for 10-15 minutes.
  5. Preheat the oven to 350°F and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  6. Form dough into balls and space them on baking sheets; slightly flatten each ball.
  7. Bake for 12-14 minutes until edges are golden. Cool completely before icing with maple glaze.
