Description

This Honey Garlic Shrimp, Sausage, and Broccoli recipe is the perfect solution for busy weeknights when you’re craving something quick, flavorful, and nutritious.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 8 oz smoked sausage, sliced
  • 2 cups broccoli florets
  • ¼ cup honey
  • ¼ cup low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, lemon juice, minced garlic, and red pepper flakes (if using). Set aside.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook sliced sausage for about 5 minutes until browned; remove from skillet.
  3. In the same skillet, add shrimp seasoned with salt and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until pink; remove shrimp.
  4. Add broccoli and a splash of water to the skillet. Cover and steam for 3-4 minutes until tender; uncover to evaporate excess water.
  5. Return sausage and shrimp to the skillet, pour in the honey garlic sauce, stir to combine, and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until thickened.
  6. Serve hot over cooked rice or quinoa, garnished with fresh parsley or cilantro.
