Ingredients
- 2 cans (5oz each) tuna, drained
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 1/2 stalk celery, chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon parsley, chopped
- 3–4 tablespoons mayonnaise
- 1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- Sliced bread
- Softened butter
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, combine drained tuna, onion, celery, garlic, parsley, mayonnaise, olive oil, and mozzarella. Mix well and season with salt and pepper.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat with 1 tablespoon of olive oil.
- Butter one side of a slice of bread and place it butter-side down in the skillet. Spread about 2 tablespoons of tuna mixture on top.
- Butter another slice of bread on one side and place it on top of the tuna mixture (buttered side facing out). Grill until golden brown on both sides.
