  • 6 oz strawberry Jell-O
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 2 1/2 cups salted pretzels
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for crust)
  • 8 Tbsp unsalted butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for creamy layer)
  • 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Dissolve strawberry Jell-O in boiling water and set aside to cool.
  2. Crush pretzels in a Ziploc bag using a rolling pin. Combine crushed pretzels with melted butter and sugar. Press into the bottom of a greased 13×9 glass dish and bake for 10 minutes; let cool.
  3. Beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over the cooled pretzel crust. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  4. Mix sliced strawberries into the cooled Jell-O mixture and pour over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until set (2-4 hours).
