Ingredients
- 6 oz strawberry Jell-O
- 2 cups boiling water
- 2 1/2 cups salted pretzels
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar (for crust)
- 8 Tbsp unsalted butter
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar (for creamy layer)
- 8 oz Cool Whip (thawed)
- 1 lb fresh strawberries (hulled and sliced)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Dissolve strawberry Jell-O in boiling water and set aside to cool.
- Crush pretzels in a Ziploc bag using a rolling pin. Combine crushed pretzels with melted butter and sugar. Press into the bottom of a greased 13×9 glass dish and bake for 10 minutes; let cool.
- Beat cream cheese and sugar until fluffy. Fold in Cool Whip and spread over the cooled pretzel crust. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Mix sliced strawberries into the cooled Jell-O mixture and pour over the cream cheese layer. Refrigerate until set (2-4 hours).
