  • 8 tablespoons unsalted butter (melted)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 8 oz whipped topping (thawed)
  • 6 oz strawberry Jello
  • 2 cups boiling water
  • 1 lb fresh strawberries (sliced)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a bowl, dissolve strawberry Jello in boiling water. Stir until fully dissolved and set aside to cool.
  3. Mix melted butter with crushed pretzels and sugar until combined. Press into a greased 9×13-inch pan and bake for about 10 minutes. Cool completely.
  4. Beat cream cheese with sugar until smooth, then fold in whipped topping. Spread over cooled crust and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
  5. Stir sliced strawberries into cooled Jello, then pour over the cream layer.
  6. Chill for 2-3 hours or until set before serving.
