Ingredients

Scale
  • 120g lukewarm water
  • 120g lukewarm milk
  • 7g instant yeast (or active dry yeast)

  • 406g bread flour
  • 100g sourdough discard
  • 8g salt

  3. Knead in softened butter until smooth (8-10 minutes) or use a stand mixer.
  4. Let the dough rise in a greased bowl for 1 to 1.5 hours until doubled in size.
  5. Shape the dough into a loaf and let it rise again until it puffs above the pan.
  6. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C) and bake for about 35 minutes.
