  • 1 lb raw shrimp (medium or large), peeled and deveined
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 8 small white corn tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded purple cabbage
  • 1 large avocado, diced
  • 1/2 red onion, diced
  • 4 oz Cotija cheese, grated
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 ½ tablespoons lime juice
  • ¾ teaspoon garlic powder
  • ¾ teaspoon Sriracha sauce

Instructions

  1. Thaw shrimp and pat dry. In a bowl, mix shrimp with garlic and seasonings.
  2. Heat olive oil in a non-stick pan over medium-high heat. Cook shrimp for 1-2 minutes per side until opaque.
  3. Toast tortillas over flame or skillet until lightly charred.
  4. Prepare toppings: slice cabbage, dice avocado and onion, chop cilantro.
  5. Whisk together sauce ingredients until smooth.
  6. Assemble tacos by placing shrimp on tortillas and adding desired toppings and sauce.
