  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (preferably panko)
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup green onions, finely chopped

  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Place peeled and deveined shrimp in a food processor; pulse until finely chopped.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine shrimp with breadcrumbs, beaten egg, green onions, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Shape the mixture into small balls (about 1-2 inches in diameter).
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat until shimmering.
  5. Fry shrimp balls for about 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  6. Transfer cooked balls to a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil and serve hot.
