Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 slices of bread (white or whole wheat)

  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon butter (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Cook the breakfast sausage links according to package instructions and set aside.
  2. Remove the crusts from each slice of bread and flatten them using a rolling pin.
  3. In a shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, vanilla extract, and cinnamon.
  4. Place a sausage link at one end of a flattened slice of bread and roll it up tightly. Secure with a toothpick if needed. Repeat for all slices.
