  • 2 tubes refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1 pound sliced Swiss cheese
  • 1 1/4 pounds sliced deli corned beef
  • 1 can sauerkraut (14 ounces), drained
  • 2/3 cup Thousand Island dressing
  • 1 egg white, lightly beaten
  • 3 teaspoons caraway seeds

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Prepare the bottom crust: Roll out one tube of crescent dough and press it into a greased baking dish. Bake for 8–10 minutes until lightly golden.
  3. Combine sauerkraut with Thousand Island dressing in a bowl.
  4. Layer half of the Swiss cheese over the baked crust, followed by all the corned beef and the sauerkraut mixture. Top with remaining Swiss cheese.
  5. Unroll the second tube of crescent dough, seal seams, and place over the layers. Brush with egg white and sprinkle with caraway seeds.
