- 1 packet instant yeast (0.25 oz)
- 1/4 cup softened butter or melted coconut oil (for filling)
- 1/2 cup brown sugar (for filling)
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon (for filling)
- 2 cups powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 2–3 tablespoons milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Warm the milk to 120-130°F. In a bowl, mix warm milk, melted butter/oil, sugar, salt, and instant yeast until dissolved. Gradually add flour to form a soft dough.
- Knead dough on a floured surface for 5-10 minutes until smooth. Place in a greased bowl; cover and let rise for about 30 minutes.
- Roll out dough into a rectangle (¼ inch thick), spread butter over it, then sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon. Roll tightly from one edge and slice into 1-inch pieces.
- Arrange slices in a greased baking pan and let rise again for another 20-30 minutes before baking at 350°F for about 25 minutes.
