  • 4 (6 oz.) Salmon Filets
  • 2 tsp Cornstarch
  • 2/3 cup Orange Juice
  • 1 tsp Orange Zest
  • 1/3 cup Soy Sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 tsp Ginger (minced)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 tsp Sesame Oil

Instructions

  1. Prepare the sauce by mixing cornstarch and water in a small bowl. Add all remaining sauce ingredients to a saucepan and simmer over medium heat for 3-5 minutes until slightly thickened.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  3. Line a baking sheet with oiled aluminum foil. Place salmon filets on the sheet and baste generously with half of the cooled sauce.
  4. Bake for about 14 minutes until flaky, then broil for an additional minute for a golden finish.
  5. Serve over rice and garnish with optional sesame seeds, red pepper flakes, and chopped green onions.
