  • 4 large eggs

  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder

  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 16 oz cream cheese
  • ½ cup sour cream

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a bowl, mix melted butter with granulated and brown sugars until smooth. Add eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla.
  3. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt. Gradually combine with the wet mixture.
  4. Pour brownie batter into the pan and bake for 25–30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool completely.
  5. For the cheesecake layer, beat cream cheese until smooth. Mix in sugar, eggs, vanilla, and sour cream until blended.
  6. Spread cheesecake mixture over cooled brownies and bake for an additional 45–50 minutes until set. Cool completely before refrigerating for at least four hours.
  7. Before serving, drizzle with hot fudge sauce and top with whipped cream and maraschino cherries.
