  • 1 lb boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups Minute rice (white or brown)
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of chicken soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) water
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • 1 envelope Lipton onion soup mix

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13 baking pan with butter.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the cream of chicken soup, cream of mushroom soup, water, and Minute rice until well blended.
  3. Pour the mixture into the greased baking pan and lay the chicken breasts on top.
  4. Sprinkle Lipton onion soup mix over the chicken for added flavor.
  5. Cover the pan tightly with aluminum foil and bake for about 1 to 1½ hours until the chicken is fully cooked.
  6. Optional: Uncover during the last 10 minutes of baking to add shredded cheese if desired.
  7. Let stand for about 5 minutes before serving warm.
