- 4 tablespoons Kahlua, or other coffee liqueur
- 1 teaspoon instant espresso powder
- 3 cups powdered sugar, sifted
- Ground cinnamon, for dusting

- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line an 8×8-inch baking dish with parchment paper.
- Melt diced butter and chopped chocolate in a bowl until smooth.
- Whisk in granulated sugar, then add eggs one at a time, followed by espresso powder, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Gently fold in sifted flour until combined.
- Pour batter into the prepared dish and bake for 20 minutes or until a toothpick comes out with moist crumbs.
- For the Kahlua buttercream, cream softened butter with heavy cream, then gradually mix in Kahlua and sifted powdered sugar until smooth.
