  • 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz linguine pasta
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon fresh thyme leaves
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook linguine in a large pot of salted boiling water until al dente. Drain and reserve ½ cup of pasta water.
  2. Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
  3. In a skillet over medium heat, melt half the butter and sauté the chicken for about 5–7 minutes on each side until cooked through. Remove and let rest.
  4. In the same skillet, add remaining butter and minced garlic; sauté until fragrant. Add chicken broth, lemon juice, thyme, and parsley; stir well.
  5. Slice cooked chicken and add to the skillet with drained linguine. Toss together until well-coated; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
  6. Serve hot with freshly grated Parmesan cheese.
