  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp smoked paprika
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)

Instructions

  1. Cook the linguine in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup of pasta water before draining.
  2. Season the chicken with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and red pepper flakes. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat and cook the chicken for about 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and chicken broth; simmer for 2-3 minutes.
  4. Stir in heavy cream and Parmesan cheese until smooth. If needed, adjust consistency with reserved pasta water.
  5. Toss sliced chicken and drained linguine in the sauce until well coated. Serve garnished with chopped parsley.
