  • 7-ounce container plain Greek yogurt
  • 15-ounce can tomato sauce
  • 1.5 cups heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon garam masala
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 teaspoons garam masala
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon table salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne

Instructions

  1. Marinate the chicken by mixing yogurt and spices in a large bowl. Add chicken chunks and coat them well. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour.
  2. Heat a nonstick pan over high heat and sear the marinated chicken until golden brown on all sides. Remove from pan.
  3. In the same pan, add tomato sauce, cream, and remaining spices. Stir to combine and bring to a simmer.
  4. Return the chicken to the pan, submerge it in the sauce, and simmer for about 20 minutes until cooked through.
