- 12 oz gluten-free farfalle pasta
- 4 tbsp butter
- 3 cups heavy cream
- 12 oz shredded parmesan cheese
- 1 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1 1/2 tsp oregano
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp thyme
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 2 tsp dry shallots
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp gluten-free 1:1 flour
- 1/4 cup pasta water
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
Instructions
- Boil pasta as per package instructions for al dente.
- Mix seasonings (paprika, oregano, garlic powder, thyme, salt, pepper) in a bowl.
- Pound chicken to an even thickness and coat both sides with seasoning.
- Sear chicken in olive oil over medium heat until golden brown (about 5 minutes per side).
- Lower heat, cover the skillet, and cook until chicken is done (internal temp of 165°F).
- In the same skillet, melt butter; add dry shallots and spices; simmer for one minute.
- Stir in gluten-free flour, then add chicken broth and heavy cream; whisk until smooth.
- Mix in shredded parmesan until melted.
- Combine cooked pasta with the sauce; adjust consistency with reserved pasta water if needed.
